Subscription & Billing

Manage your subscription, trial period, and payments.

Opairly offers a free 30-day trial. After that, choose a subscription to keep using all features. Payments are securely processed through Stripe.

Trial period

After creating your household, you have 30 days to try Opairly for free. During the trial you have full access to all features, no credit card required.

When 7 days remain, a reminder appears on the dashboard.

Plan

After the trial, choose a subscription to keep using all features. You can pay monthly or yearly; yearly is the better deal. See the pricing page for current rates.

The subscription covers the entire household, not per user. All family members and the au pair are included automatically.

Managing your subscription

The household owner (the person who created the account) manages the subscription via Dashboard > Settings > Account, in the Subscription section. From there you can:

View your current plan and next payment date
Switch between monthly and yearly (or vice versa)
Update your payment method
Cancel your subscription

Only the household owner can manage the subscription. Other family members can view the plan but cannot make changes; the au pair does not have access to this section.

Existing users

Users who created their account before billing was introduced retain free access to all features. This will not change.

Cancellation

When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the current billing period. After that date, the dashboard is fully locked behind an overlay until you subscribe again. Your data stays safe.
